After closing my website, Motorsport Barbados, in 2002, I recently (April 2010) made a decision to re-establish a presence on the internet in the form of a blog. Unfortunately for old fans of the site, I have no intention of once again running a dedicated motorsport web site since I no longer have the time for that and there are more than enough sites out there which offer excellent coverage of motorsport in Barbados.
I am experimenting with the blog format since my intention is to have a more relaxed web presence where I can combine my passion for motorsport with my rekindled love for still photography. If this starts to take up too much of my time, this too will end.
This blog will therefore chronicle some of the many images I capture during my journey as an amateur photographer in my quest to achieve technical competence in the art and mastery of my chosen DSLR system. Since I shoot a lot of motorsport, I will use this opportunity to combine the two by offering limited coverage of my thoughts/comments related to the motorsport events which I attend, and photograph, in Barbados and the region.
It goes without saying that I retain the copyright of all of images on this site and they should not be used without my permission. Drop me a line if you have a request.
